Lily League® 2026 bevestigt groei van dubbelbloemige lelies
Tijdens de Dutch Lily Days én via onze online leliedatabase brachten kwekers, exporteurs, bloemisten en andere professionals uit de internationale sierteelt hun stem uit op hun favoriete lelierassen. Het resultaat is de Lily League® 2026: een actueel overzicht van de 50 populairste lelies wereldwijd.
The end of tulip season 🌷
The last tulip bulbs are leaving our cold stores these days. Soon, the next season will begin.
This year our bulbs travel the world once again: to Japan, China, Korea, Australia, New Zealand and Vietnam. Most of them go to professional landscaping projects, the rest to flower growers or garden centres, where consumers use the bulbs to fill their gardens with color again.
This year we supplied beautiful varieties once more, with Cheerleader and Dreamer as this season's toppers, alongside strong demand for our mini and species tulips and muscari (also known as grape hyacinths).
We will also send a selection of bulbs to Keukenhof again: new and special varieties for the Willem-Alexander pavilion, and amazing combinations of flowerbulbs for our field in front of the Oranje-Nassau pavilion. The bulbs will be planted in October and will bloom from late March to mid-May when the Keukenhof is open to the public.
"Every year we're curious whether our promotion has made a difference for our customers," says Henk van Voorbergen, tulip buyer at Onings. "This year we brought out a brochure featuring mini tulips and muscari. That fine, detailed work, with lovely colors and varieties at very affordable prices, has definitely generated plenty of demand from customers worldwide."
We can't wait to see how our bulbs brighten up landscapes and gardens again after the winter.
